Bega Hospital Auxiliary

The Bega Hospital Auxiliary is an affiliated branch of the United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW (Registered Charity CFN11058).

We hold regular activities and events throughout the year including our fashion parade, street stalls across the Bega Valley and raffles. As we have some fantastic cooks in our group we cater for small events, luncheons, seminars and wakes which provides a profitable and popular way of fundraising.

100% of the funds we raise are used to purchase much needed equipment for South East Regional (Bega) Hospital.

Due to the generosity of the community we have been able to gift:

·         a trolley for the Emergency Department

·         mattresses for Occupational Health

·         Zone Tone sounders for the Medical Ward

·         furniture for the Oncology Ward

·         an ultrasound probe for the Paediatrics Ward

·         Vein Illuminator for the Operating Theatre

·         TVs for every patient in the hospital

·         Super Annie Simulator used for training.

Little things are important too and we provide emergency kits for members of the public who are taken to Bega Hospital without items of their own. These kits include toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm, tissues, pencil and notebook.

The care and comfort of patients is our aim.

New members are always welcome and donations over $2 are tax deductible.
